The
Public Institution National Park Galicica continues
with series of meetings with local communities of
the Park, within the framework of the process of
preparation of the Management Plan. These meetings
are part of the initial phase, and have a goal to
assist in the preparation of Common Vision for the
future of the National Park Galicica. On 22nd
of November 2008, a meeting with the residents of
the settlement of Raca was held. The residents
presented their understanding, point of view and
expectations for the future development of the Park.
Based
on the workshop results, PINP Galicica will develop
draft Vision that will be subject to additions and
changes during the further process according to the
propositions given by interested parties and
stakeholders.On the bases of the adopted Vision, the
next phase of the planning process will determine
the general and special goals of the Park Management
for the next 10 years.
