New business – information center

Respected friends, the Business and information visitors centre represents one of the main goals of the project that leads towards creation of trans-boundary Prespa Park. This project is financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Italian NGO CRIC from Reggio, Calabria and few Italian National Parks. I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Italian Ambassador to RM Mr. Donatino Macron and the first secretary of the Italian Embassy to RM, Mr Roberto Ricco for their help and unselfish supporting the realization of this project . Said the Director of NPG Galicica Zoran Angeloski on the official ceremony that was organized for the occasion of setting the foundations for the new business – information centre on Galicica. Its construction will be financed by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Italian Non – government organization Centro Reginale D’Intervento per la Cooperazione (CRIC).

The event was attended by the Minister for Internal Affairs of RM, Gordana Jankuloska, the First Secretary of the Italian Embassy in RM, representatives from CRIC, delegated officials from the Macedonian Parliament, the employees of the National Park Galicica and large number of supporters of the National park and nature lovers.

The construction of this Business – information centre will significantly improve the conditions for work of the Park services. The centre will open new opportunities for the visitors to learn more about the natural and cultural values of the Park and to have more enjoyable and content rich stay in the Park. Furthermore, the Centre will give opportunity to the residents of the Park to sell some of the locally produced products. A restaurant with local cuisine on the menu will be included in the centre.

The First Secretary of the Italian embassy to Macedonia said that the Office for technical cooperation within the Italian embassy in Skopje will continue to have environmental protection high on its priorities list.
