Within the framework of the project “Support for National Park Galicica”, financed by KfW Bank from Germany, there was Tourism Research Study, conducted for the needs of Public Institution National Park Galicica. This Study was conducted by the experts from the Faculty for tourism and Hospitality. It covered the area of NP Galicica, and the municipalities of Ohrid and Resen. On the bases of the Study and additional work in cooperation with the Park’s staff and consultation with the stakeholders, the international expert for tourism – Mrs. Nikol Hoisler from Germany, prepared “Strategy for Sustainable Tourism Development for National Park Galicica”.

The Strategy was presented to the public in the hotel Belvedere, Ohrid on 29 January 2009.
