Settlement Istok(east) is among the elite settlements.  It is positioned next to the village of Konjsko without clear separation between the two.  It is distanced about 5 km from Ohrid, on the left hand side of the road heading from Ohrid towards St. Naum, in the vicinity of Hotel Granit.

The settlement has beautiful new houses, bult by people attracted by the good location, proximity of the lake and the views of the lake and town of Ohrids.  The settlement counts 117 residents, but most of them do not live there permanently.
