The village of Konjsko is distanced 6-7km away from
Ohrid. It is a mountain village with mostly old and
empty houses seldom used. There is a population of
22 residents all of them older than 15. Most of the
former residents of this village have migrated to
Dolno Konjsko, in search of better living
conditions.
There only about a dozen households having
livelihood in the village. Only few of those are
permanently in the village. They are mostly old
people living on their pension, or being financially
supported by other members of their family. Few
residents are involved in cattle breeding, having a
herds of sheep counting several hundred heads.
Sheep are grazing in the village vicinity, some of
the lambs are sold, and there is ongoing production
of cheese.
