This settlement is on the shore of Lake Ohrid, distanced about 7 km from Ohrid.  It has small number of permanent residents – 20.  Nevertheless, the settlement has numerous modern houses, weekend houses, hotels and restaurants.

Thirty years ago, this was a place where extinguished citizens of larger cities in Macedonia built their weekend houses.  Today, Lagadin is still attractive place to live.  The settlement has running water and sewerage, but no school.
