Leskoec with its territory belongs to Resen municipality and has 12 residents only.  It is a mountain village distanced about 20 km from Resen.  It can be reached by an asphalt road that branches from the road going alongside the Lake Prespa towards village of Stenje and Albanian border, at locality Carina.  Houses in the village are old and ruined.

In the last few years, few new holiday houses are built, used in the summer period only.  The permanent residents of the village are mostly old people.  Young people have left the village in search of better living conditions.
