The settlement of St Stefan originates by migration of the residents of Sipokno.  Today, the settlement has 112 residents.  It is distanced 3 – 4 km away from Ohrid on the left hand side of the road leading to St Naum.

There is running water, but no sewerage in the settlement. The children of the settlement attend primary school in the village of Raca.  Residents find work in the city of Ohrid and nearby hotels.
