Trpejca is positioned in a small bay on the shore of
the Lake Ohrid, 20km from Ohrid, underneath the road
leading to St. Naum. Through the village pass
several streets wide enough for pedestrians only,
and those streets are the only means of reaching the
shoreline of the lake. The water in this part of
the lake is very clear, and it attracts lots of
visitors through out the summer period. Population
is 303.
In the past, the main activities in the village were
fishing and cattle breeding. In present times,
during the summer, Trpejca is visited by tourist who
find accommodations in private houses in the
village. Furthermore, there are few restaurants on
the shore being open over the summer.
